HERE’S YOUR WEEKLY OVERVIEW OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AT COMMUNITY CHURCH + IN THE COMMUNITY!

highlight of the week: what comes next?

This three-week experience is a simple place to begin the journey. Whether you’re curious, exploring, or just starting to follow Jesus, you’re invited to join us for three relaxed Wednesday evenings (April 22–May 6, 6:30–8:15pm) at Station 1 Brewing Co. in Suamico. Each night includes a light meal, a short video or talk, and open, honest small group conversation—no pressure and no prior knowledge needed. There’s no cost, and it’s especially designed for anyone who came to Easter and wants to explore what faith might mean for them. Come as you are—with questions, doubts, or just curiosity. RSVP HERE.

NAVIGATE: DISCOVER YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFT

Navigate is a course designed to walk you through a biblical understanding of the spiritual gifts found in Scripture, using the framework Paul gives in Romans, Ephesians, and 1 Corinthians. Together, we’ll explore what these gifts are—and what they are not—while also providing real-time feedback to help you recognize where spiritual fruit is (and isn’t) showing up in your life. The goal of Navigate is to help you gain clarity on your unique, God-given design so you can confidently live it out. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to better identify your spiritual gift, understand how to use it effectively, and discover meaningful ways to get connected and serve within the church. Join us at GBCC for this one-day, condensed version of our 8-week group and take the next step in discovering your spiritual gift. Navigate will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 9am–4pm at GBCC in The Spring. Learn more and sign up here.

Even more amazing—20 of the 21 small homes in their village have already been sponsored by foundations, veterans’ groups, and generous community members. This project is a powerful collaboration, supported by over 90 partner agencies, all working together to provide affordable housing and life-giving support services to veterans in need—those who have sacrificed so much for us. CONNECT TO COMMUNITY

Join us for Connect to Community, on the first Sunday of each month. This gathering is free to attend and a great first step in getting to know GBCC. Join us from 10am–11am in the Church Office Area. Come a little early and enjoy breakfast! You’ll meet some of our pastors, elders, and staff, get a simple overview of who we are as a church, and learn how you can get involved. We’ll also answer any questions you may have. Our hope is that you’ll meet new friends, catch a clear picture of our beliefs, and discover real ways to connect.

Next Connect to Community is on Sunday, May 3 — Sign up here.

WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT

We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing generosity and support! Did you know that only 5-10% of active churchgoers in the U.S. regularly tithe? At GBCC, we see giving not just as a responsibility but as a joyful opportunity to demonstrate our love and obedience to God. We truly believe we don’t give to receive; we GET to give! In Acts 2, we see a powerful example of community generosity: “All the believers met together… and shared everything they had… praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people.” This is the spirit we strive to cultivate within our church.

As we work together to fulfill our mission, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand. For the week of April 9th • Total giving was $41,572

In the coming months, we are praying that God will continue to raise up new regular givers to join us in supporting the important work of the Kingdom here in Green Bay. John Wesley described money as “an excellent gift of God, answering the noblest ends.”

Would you join us in praying for hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church. Your contributions truly make a difference in advancing our mission and serving our community!
